What is Home Phone?
Home Phone is conventionally your “ Fixed Line Network” also known as Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS), is the wired phone system over which landline telephone calls are made. Fixed Line or Home Phone services have been, and are still in use from use from homes, offices, or calling booths. It is still the most commonly used voice communication technology in the world in-between 2 fixed points of communication. All calls pass through a “Local Exchange” that are operated by national, regional, or local telephony operators, providing infrastructure and services for public telecommunication.

Are there any special Terms & Conditions? 
All Plans are governed by a “General Set” of terms & conditions that can be located under the Terms & Conditions section (above the footer section) of the Home Phone Plan page, the more common ones are listed as:
- Plan prices apply per service connected through Inspired Broadband.
- Connections are subject to subject to credit and serviceability checks. Service offer is extended confirming to the Company Policies' & SFOA (Standard Form of Agreement).
- Plans are contracted for 24 months and available for all approved customers.
- Plan fees do not include expenses for calling 13/1300, 1900 numbers, Premium/Subscription Services, International Dialing, Chargeable Calls, special Phone Features, Value Added Services.
- ETF(Early Termination Fees) apply per service if the contract is cancelled or terminated within the contracted term or after the cooling-off period.
Will my connection come with a Phone Instrument? 
While all our Home Phone Plans include Line Rentals and GST, Hardware is not included /supplied when signed up for this plan. Customers/Subscribers require to arrange and connect their own handset/s to utilize the services.
Will there be any changes in call quality or any differences in the services? 
There is no change in call quality if you switch to Inspired Broadband. We use the same Home Phone copper network that you have always used for your phone service. There are no physical differences in services as well. Your monthly invoices will now come from us and you will be able to take advantage of our competitive pricing. Any phone related queries you have will be handled by Inspired Broadband’s Customer helpdesk. Even when maintenance is required it will be carried out by the same technicians.
If I transfer over to Inspired Broadband, can I keep my current number? 
If you're simply moving from one company over to a Inspired Broadband service then yes, you should be able to keep your number, this service is called Porting.
